10 Great Social Networking Icon Packs

Posted by Chris on December 24, 2009 at 1:00 pm.

I was looking through the interwebs for some social networking icons for one of my clients.  There’s a ton of sites out there with a “best of” list.  Normally, though, those lists consist of any where between 30 and a bazillion entries.  I decided to restrict mine to 10.  So, here you go (in no particular order):

About: Chris:
I own Flying Tomato Design, a small web design company based out of Spokane, WA USA. I'm not afraid to admit it; I'm a geek. I'm into Transformers and Star Wars. Although I'm not so far into it that I still live in my mother's basement. I've got a great wife and two wonderful kids. I enjoy playing my guitar when I get time, I like sushi and long moonlit walks on the beach. : ) Thank you for taking a few minutes to read this, and thanks for your support. Check me out on Facebook and Twitter.

I had to refresh the page 2 times to view this page for some reason, however, the information on here was worth the wait. I loved that it is also really easy to read for the eyes.

Just checking out your article on my new Drioid , and I wanted to see if it would let me reply or if it was going to me go to a desktop to do that. Ill check back later to see if it worked.

Aw, this was a really quality post. In theory I’d like to write like this too – taking time and real effort to make a good article… but what can I say… I procrastinate alot and never seem to get something done.

  • Oh marvelous icons here, it’s seems nice.congrats for the man who made this.

  • @chels I know what you mean, its hard to find good help these days. People now days just don’t have the work ethic they used to have. I mean consider whoever wrote this post, they must have been working hard to write that good and it took a good bit of their time I am sure. I work with people who couldn’t write like this if they tried, and getting them to try is hard enough as it is.

Strange this post is totaly unrelated to what I was searching google for, but it was listed on the first page. I guess your doing something right if Google likes you enough to put you on the first page of a non related search. :)

  • Wow man, that’s extremely nice info, cheers.

The post is a good one. Anyone’s audience is a group of individuals. Nothing can change it.
Nice article written here. I got to know a few more things about the topic

  • Thanks for the post! I love it!

  • Chris says:

Thanks all for the compliments. As you can see by the infrequency of the blogs, I don’t have much time to do this often. However, when I do, I want to make sure that I put something out there that is well thought out and useful.

  • hello there, I’m sorry for my personal poor language. Relating to your post, you should verify my site for guides and points.

    • Chris says:

Hopefully you’ll come back here and catch my comment.

I like the layout of the theme that you’ve used for your blog. The only thing that I would change is to add some graphics. Make it a little more visually interesting to read. A nice colorful banner would help with that. Also, maybe include some images in your posts. Since you’re blogging about one specific thing; Texas Hold’em, you can use screen shots of card combinations, etc. Sorry, but I don’t really play the game, but I’m sure you can figure out some good images to use to liven up your posts.

Thanks for your interest and inquiry!

Thank you for this kind of fascinating post! Through experience i have a site and i’m wanting to know, how can i get a hold of these kinds of wonderful theme like yours?

  • Chris says:

@Scenografia: I was totally lazy and rather than building my own theme, I found a free one. Just search for “Free WordPress Theme” and that should yield more results than you’ll probably care for. ;P

Here, I’ve made it really easy. Copy and paste and enjoy:

    Thanks for stopping by!
